DESCRIPTION
The
property consists of 89 acres on a macadam road,
approximately 2,200 on frontage and 1,600 feet deep.
It
is forested with two brooks, some wetlands, and was
timbered in 1986 or thereabout. There are some ravines.
The property in the back slants steeply up to the
mountains (The Wilmington Range). A 350 foot well supplies

property is across the street from the trailhead to
Catamount Mountain. It is 15 miles to Whiteface Ski Area
and five minutes to Franklin Falls Reservoir.

house is one story with expanded attic which, if
remodeled, can be turned into rooms for dormitories or a
sporting club for skiers, hikers, or hunters. Siding on
the house is Adirondack boards. The large living room runs
from the front to rear of the house on the west side.
Windows on all three sides. The woodstove is partly
inserted in the fireplace. Walls are stained pine boards.
The kitchen with electric stove, is also partly with pine
boards. The kitchen is between the living room and front
bedroom. Three bedrooms are behind the front bedroom.
The
heating system is hot water baseboard. Antifreeze fluid
instead if water is filled. During cold season, the back
three bedrooms need not be heated by turning a valve in
the basement. The spetic tank system is several feet east
of the house.
All
furniture will remain in the house at time of sale.
Beautiful
views of Whiteface Mountain and the Wilmington Range can
be had a three minute walk from the house.
