Au Sable Acres has a private wooded community park with a lake, beach, playground, playing fields, barbecue, picnic tables, basketball and tennis courts. Au Sable Acres also offers hiking, snowshoe, and cross country skiing trails. Trail maps are available at "Kookaburra."

Private access to the West Branch of the Au Sable River for its world famous fly fishing, as well as kayaking, canoeing, and tubing. For golfers, there are five highly rated and challenging courses within 30 to 60 minutes of "Kookaburra."
