The large porch also overlooks the lake. Downhill skiing and snowboarding is available at nearby McCauley and Gore Mountains. Other winter activities include snowmobiling (easy trail/lake access), cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and ice fishing. Summer and autumn activities include swimming, hiking, boating, biking, golfing, white water rafting, canoeing, and kayaking.
