DESCRIPTION
The house is located about
1/2 mile south of town (Bolton Landing). The town of Bolton Landing is 10 miles north of Lake George village and on the lake, (Bolton
Landing not the house). The house is directly across the street
(Rte 9/Lake shore drive) from the lake and is one of
two homes located on the property. It is set back from the road
about 150' and up on a hill. It has a large deck with great views of the lake and open
woods in the back.
The house is about 900 square
feet, with two bedrooms on the main floor. Each bedroom
contains one double bed. There is also a sleeping loft which also has a double bed.
Downstairs there is an additional bedroom with a full bath,
this bedroom is accessible only through a separate, private entrance; this
room also has a double bed. There is a modern eat in kitchen, which includes all pots,
pans, dishes glasses and utensils, and a 10' x 16' screened in sunroom. Also included are
a BBQ, laundry, cable TV, VCR, and DVD player.
The house is within walking distance of lakeside dining and a marina (with boat
rentals, parasailing, and wave runners). There are also
three public beaches within 1/2 mile. There is no
dock space available with the house.
There is allocated parking for
two cars in the main driveway, but as I stated earlier,
since the house is set back 150' from the road and up a hill there is some walking and
several sets of stairs involved to reach it. Not a problem for your average person but not a
good setup if you have walking or stair problems! In this description I have tried to
answer all questions regarding the house that I've been asked in the past, so please read
the description carefully. I believe 95% of all questions should be answered either by the
description or the photos. If you have any other questions that
are not included I would be glad to answer them.
