DESCRIPTION
This is the vacation home you have dreamt of. Three thousand square feet of rustic elegance located on three pristine, secluded acres with views of Second Lake and distant mountains. This classic Adirondack lodge embodies all that is unique to the Adirondack experience... quiet peaceful days, starlit nights and the opportunity to enjoy nature in every season.

This "camp" was built in 2003 but is an exact duplicate of our other camp built in 1939....half log and cedar shake exterior, knotty pine interior, exposed beam ceilings, wood burning stone fireplace and
quintessential Adirondack decor. Upscale but cozy furnishings, oriental rugs and rustic accessories throughout, this "camp" is full of charm.

The first floor features a 36' x 20' great room with living area, dining area, wet bar with fridge and microwave. Great for casual entertaining or relaxing. TV, VCR, and DVD player, plus a piano for sing-a-longs. Adjacent is an adorable bunk room, a great favorite of the children, with two sets of bunk beds. A utility room with washer and dryer and an extra large area for hanging snowmobile suits and outdoor gear.

On the main floor the cozy living room with wood burning stone fireplace to warm you in the winter or on chilly summer nights. All wood is included. A deer mount over the fireplace and walls covered with Adirondack paintings, snowshoes and skis, add to the mountain ambience. A door from the living room opens onto a large deck with spectacular views.

Off of the living room is a sun porch dining and sitting area. The porch which is glassed in and heated in the winter and screened in the summer has three exposures. Here you can catch a glimpse of the abundant wildlife, deer, turkey, fox, porcupines, and yes quite often a bear or two.

The kitchen on this floor is fully equipped with all amenities, lots of good china, glassware, and cutlery, a gas stove and oven. A cozy breakfast nook provides views of the yard and picnic area.

On this floor there are also two ample sized bedrooms with queen size beds, comfy mattresses, and good pillows. Beautifully decorated and lots of storage. A full extra large bath completes this floor.

Half log stairs lead to the third floor which has a spacious landing for reading of relaxing. Three adorable bedrooms each tucked under its own dormer. First bedroom with two twins, second with one twin, and third with one twin and a double...all with good mattresses and pillows. An additional extra large full bath is on this floor.

Outside the lawn area is nestled in the woods close to camp. There is  a large fire circle, Adirondack chairs, picnic tables, horseshoe pit, and hammocks. Plus lots of room to play your favorite game. Totally secluded and quiet.

This lovely lodge in its secluded location is only two miles from Old Forge, restaurants, shopping, cruises and boat rentals. Easy access to two snowmobile trails. Hiking, biking, and cross country ski trails close by. The private beach is only a short walk away, many more beaches and lakes are only a short drive. Plenty of parking for cars, boats, and trailers.
