Less than 10 minutes to Indian Lake, Lake Abanakee, and Adirondack Lake. Mountain climbing, skiing (20 minutes to Gore Mountain), ice skating, snow shoeing, cross country skiing, hunting, snowmobile trails, white water rafting, boating, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, and swimming in the nearby lakes and rivers. Visit the Adirondack Museum, spend the day in Lake George or just sit back and relax on the front porch listening to the Whispering Pines.
