DESCRIPTION
Bailey Lodge is one of the finest Lodges in the Adirondacks. Situated on a very secluded waterfront lot with large white pines surrounding the property. The lodge has been completely updated July 2005 with designer furnishings and completely new kitchen. A large screened porch completely surrounds the lodge which overlooks the lake, hardwood floors throughout, two large fireplaces, gorgeous decor with Ralph Lauren Leathers to oriental rugs, and the finest in bedding.

Relax on the screened porch and enjoy an Adirondack sunset overlooking the lake. At night have a large campfire on the waterfront and listen to the loons throughout the evening. The seclusion and amenities insures for a very relaxing stay.

The main lodge has six bedrooms and four baths. The one bedroom apartment above the carriage house at the entrance to the property has one bedroom/one bath.

An Adirondack lakeside Lean-To offers a Moroccan style bedroom with a king bed for a romantic atmosphere.

One of the most unique settings is having dinner in the formal dining room surrounded by French doors that open to a panoramic view of the lake. You may also enjoy casual dining in the Adirondacks at a number of nearby restaurants.

Star Lake is a spring-fed lake with 4.6 miles of shoreline. The lake is known as the "Gem of the Adirondacks" and is located in a small community close to Tupper and Saranac Lakes. It is a 90 minute drive from Lake Placid and 60 minute drive to the Thousand Islands

Included are the use of three kayaks, paddle boat, and canoe. You can swim from the dock which is directly in front of the lodge in the crystal clear water. The lake bottom is sandy and a nearby sand bar is a great place to just soak up the rays. Nearby activities include Golf, Restaurants, Biking, Hiking, Fishing, Hunting, and much more.

The bedrooms include: three King Beds--two Queen Beds--six Twin Beds--Convertible Futon Bed in Upstairs Den.

The lodge is completely prepared for your arrival-any special requests are accepted! A full grocery store is within walking distance/small deli counter/and fresh produce. A gas grill and charcoal grill are Just outside the kitchen door. Great dishware/glassware/and picnicware are complete.
