DESCRIPTION
Little Loj at Whiteface is a fully renovated, authentic Adirondack log cabin with rustic ambience and all modern amenities.  The Loj has two bedrooms, each with queen size beds.  There are two full bathrooms, each with Jacuzzi whirlpools and a new, fully equipped kitchen.  To keep you comfortable in the winter, there is a Vermont Castings woodstove, a Monitor kerosene heater and additional electric heaters in the bathrooms and bedrooms as well as window air conditioning to keep you happy in the summer.

Situated at the base of Whiteface Mountain , Little Loj rests on a grassy acre with mature, shade bearing pine trees.  Enjoy the outdoor, stone fireplace, barbeque pit and Adirondack picnic table.  Located in the High Peaks Region of the Adirondacks, Little Loj is ten minutes from Lake Placid , site of two winter Olympics and wonderful shops and restaurants and just two minutes from Whiteface Ski Area.

Whiteface Mountain Ski area is rated #1 in North America for off-hill activities. Representing the East Coast’s largest vertical drop at 3,350 feet and 72 trails for skiing and snowboarding, Whiteface Mountain has something to offer riding abilities of all kinds.  Situated just across the road, the Ausable River is home to world class trout fishing.  The cabin has a storage shed for your gear and other oversized toys as well.

Vacation Rental Amenities
Little Loj is furnished in classic Adirondack décor.  The log cabin is 1,400 square feet with a new and fully equipped kitchen with microwave, coffee maker, blender and settings for at least ten.  There are two televisions with expanded cable service, stereo system, VCR, phone, washer and dryer and complete linens.

There is prompt snowplowing in the winter and the grounds are beautifully maintained in the summer.  This home is centrally located to many activities.  It is within two minutes of the Whiteface Ski Center and Mountain Bike Center and ten minutes away from the beautiful town of Lake Placid .

The cabin is perfectly located to many activities such as hiking, fishing, boating rock climbing and golf, just to name a few.  There is kayaking , ice skating, bike riding, national and international athletic competitions, the Center for the Performing Arts, free summer concerts by the lakes and of course, the foliage.  The local area hosts some fabulous special events such as the Ironman North America Competition, the Native American Festival, the Scottish Highland Festival, Oktoberfest and A-rated horseshows.  The beaches are well maintained, the 1950’s vintage movie house offers first run movies, there are dozens of fine restaurants, great specialty shops, a scenic railroad and Santa at the “North Pole”.

RENTAL RATES
During the months of February, March, April, May, June, September and October, Little Loj rents for $175 per night with a 3 night minimum or $1,050 for the week.
During the months of July, August, November, December and January, Little Loj rents for $200 per night with a 4 night minimum or $1,200 for the week.
There is a week minimum during the Ironman Competition (July), Christmas, New Year’s and President’s Day holidays and rents for $1,400.
There is a standard security deposit of $250 which is returned to you after your departure, minus a $50 cleaning fee, assuming the cabin is left in good standing. 
Rentals longer than 1 week are subject to negotiation.
Pet policy:  The only pets considered are mature dogs.  If permission is given, there is an additional pet security deposit and a surcharge of $15 per day with a $75 maximum.
