Cottage is
a rustic Adirondack camp with great charm. A private
gate leads down a woodland path to the cottage.
Accommodation is on two floors. Downstairs is a summer
dining room, galley kitchen, and family bathroom
leading to a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom with
shower. This room leads to a secluded patio area for
outdoor dining. Upstairs is one enormous open plan
room divided into a sleeping area with three double
beds. A living area has French doors opening onto a
large deck. Ideal for two couples or a family. The
entire hamlet of Essex is on the National Register of Historic Places.
The cottage is just a stones throw from the lake, and offers two
marinas, a
sandy beach, lakeside restaurants, summer theater, art galleries and
antique shops. Sailing, golf, tennis and fishing are all nearby this lakeside
village nestled half way between Burlington, VT and Lake Placid. Two airports
within 30 minutes drive. Amtrak (NY to Montreal route) 11 miles. Albany
and Montreal are two hours drive.
