Cedar Ridge is a one acre plus lakefront property on Sacandaga Lake five minutes from Speculator. The year round camp is an authentic Adirondack house built in the post and beam style featuring cathedral ceilings and a fieldstone fireplace. Both Snowy Mountain and Sacandaga Lake can be viewed from the main deck of the house. The house enjoys a location in the Sacandaga Estates while maintaining the privacy and serenity that comes with the proximity of the state owned " forever wild" land nearby.

The house sleeps 8 with two bedrooms and a large bath upstairs. On the main floor is a large bedroom that leads to a side deck, a second full bath, a living room, dining room, full kitchen with lake views and entryway. The home’s interior walls are cedar and pine.

Steps lead down to the beach ideal for swimming, sand castles or watching the sunset. The lake works for motor boats, sail boats or canoeing and is connected to small rivers for canoe day trips. A boat launch is within view of the camp. Land around the camp is perfect for outdoor grilling, roasting marshmallows, or exploring nature.

The house is five minutes from downtown Speculator which offers great restaurants, tennis courts, playground, movie theatre, gift shops, a substantial grocery store, and marina with rentals. Golfers will enjoy being two miles from the Lake Pleasant course and hikers are close to many wonderful trails.

Winter vacationers will find the area equally suitable with snowmobile trails starting right near the property. Oak Mountain ski area is right in town and Gore Mountain ski area is nearby. Cross country skiing is great directly from the property or on nearby trails.

Lake George, Old Forge, Saratoga Springs, Adirondack museum, and many of the great Adirondack old camps are 30 to 90 minutes away. It is an ideal location for exploration of the breathtaking Adirondacks or just right for relaxing. We welcome singles, families, young or old who have a respect for a beautifully built home and the great outdoors.
