Sorry pet owners. We absolutely do not accept pets. Many of our clients are allergic to pet dander. We promise to provide hypoallergenic accommodations.  We would be happy to recommend (pet friendly rentals) our very special friends Dave and Jean at Cripple Creek Cabins.

Little bear's cabin is nestled in a field of clover, surrounded by gorgeous foliage and an array of wildlife. The cabin is an easy 100-foot flat walk to the river. It is one and three-quarter acres of pristine river frontage on the world renowned West Branch of the Au Sable River. This is the perfect getaway for a couple or small family. Although private and extremely quite, Little bear's river frontage is a coveted spot amongst guides and discerning fly fishermen alike. Many twenty-inch plus brown trout are taken here daily. During your stay with us, we highly recommend a half, or full day guided trip and consultation with world-renowned legend and inventor of the most successful fly’s on the Ausable river himself, Mr. Fran Betters. Little bear's cabin: It was built in 2004/05. The cabin has all the amenities of modern life but takes you back to an easier, simpler time that will create lifelong memories of summers spent in the Adirondacks. Upstairs features a six-foot picture window with a king size bed overlooking the Au Sable River; let the sound’s of the river sing you to sleep every night. Little bear's cabin is only 10 minutes away from the town of Ausable Forks/Supermarket, pharmacy, gas station, liquor store, bowling alley and golf course, 20 minutes from Whiteface Mountain/Santa's workshop/Uncle Fran’s Adirondack sport shop and 25 minutes from Lake Placid with access to a world class golf course/Olympic Village Etc. All the amenities of the area are available for your use - tennis court, hiking trails, pond, etc. There are many beautiful secluded hiking trails within minutes of Little Bears Cabin. On the premises are two fire pits with hoses to ensure a safe outdoor fire. One is located by the house, and the other down by the river for a quiet nighttime fire with roasted marshmallows. 

Sleeps four to five people comfortably.
