SPRING
- SUMMER - FALL
A
spring, summer, or fall visit to the
Adirondacks
comes with a wealth of things to do.
Loon Lake's
beach, our easy access boat launch, and boat docking are just down the
road. Loon Lake covers 584
acres and is over 2 miles long. Then jump over to
Schroon Lake with 9 miles of open water.
Bring along your boat or rent one for all types
of pleasure boating, skiing or fishing. Only five
minutes away, Natural
Stone Bridge and Caves (stonebridgeandcaves.com) has been a
favorite of Nature Lovers and their families. Enjoy a
day exploring and see Trout Brook cascade through
unusual rock formations before plunging beneath
historic Ponte de Dios (Bridge
of
God). 500 feet downstream, it emerges into Artist's Gorge
through several caves, including: Echo
Cave, Garnet Cave, and the Cave of the Lost Pool. Best
remembered is
the Noisy Cave, where the roaring river disappears beneath your
feet! Abundant mountain biking trails can be found for any level of
thrill (bikeadirondacks.org). The Gore Mountain garnet
deposit is recognized as a world famous geology site and it’s only 15 minutes away!
