DESCRIPTION
Beaver Lodge is located outside the Town of Long Lake, on the shore of Big Brook.

The house sits on two acres of pine woods and fronts the brook so that from the dock you can canoe or kayak upstream or downstream into Long Lake .  There are several beaver lodges on the brook along with other wildlife and the fishing is abundant.  Directly across the brook is a wildlife protected area keeping the property quiet and free of human traffic.  Because this is a brook, the water lever is ever changing and along with it the views and habitats.  We often see deer and wild turkeys right around the house, in addition to hummingbirds and bears in the summer.

Beaver Lodge is fully equipped with all modern conveniences.  The main floor has one bedroom (one queen), one full bath, kitchen/dining area, living room and a den/office. The upper floor has one bedroom with a queen bed and one with two twins. There is one full bath on this level as well. There is a washer-dryer in the basement for your use and a propane grill on the outer deck/porch.

The Town of Long Lake is a canoe paddle or short drive of about two miles. For swimming the town beach can’t be beat as it has a nice sandy beach, great dock for the kids, picnic tables and near the grocery store, restaurants and take-out stand.  During the summer there are town activities to entertain, stores to visit, restaurants to try and always the adventure of a seaplane ride.
