DESCRIPTION
Loon Island in Lake Bonaparte was first built upon by our grandfather well before you could drive to this shore, but it has always been accessible by foot from the mainland over a short stretch of beach which will also probably be your main playground here. The main cottage and out-buildings are rustic and very Adirondack "camp" but we have the essential plumbing and electricity. Many generations of children and dogs have spent their summers here. We rent to one group or family at a time, and one of us will generally welcome you and be in another cottage on the four acre island through your stay.
