Enjoy year round fun in the Adirondacks! Swimming, fishing, and boating on nearby Loon Lake. Horseback riding, hiking, a scenic train ride, gondola ride, white water rafting, snowmobiling, and skiing are just minutes away. The Shady Pines Cabin is located just 15 minutes to the quaint village of Bolton Landing, which overlooks Lake George, Lake George Village is approximately 20 minutes away, with its sandy beaches, scenic shops, Great Escape Theme Park, Fort William Henry, and more.

The Shady Pines Cabin is ideally located near Loon Lake and Gore Mountain. Situated on four private acres, this cabin is a true "cabin in the woods". Sit around the fire pit roasting marshmallows. In the winter, enjoy filtered views of Friends Lake or snuggle up in front of the large stone fireplace.

First floor features: Genuine log and knotty pine walls, ceiling fans, beautiful Hickory floors, floor to ceiling Adirondack River Rock fireplace, great room, fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer (in walkout basement), master bedroom with queen bed, full bathroom, cable TV/DVD, queen size sofa bed, and beautiful custom log staircase.

Second floor features two bedrooms, one with queen bed, the other with twin bunk beds. There is another bathroom with a stall shower for your convenience. The entire home is beautifully decorated in true Adirondack style with all real log furniture. The large picture windows showcase the best nature has to offer.

For serious skiing and snowboarding, Gore Mountain ski area is just 20 minutes away.  Or for the little ones, Dynamite Hill is five minutes from your door.  It offers a free rope tow for skiing and snowboarding, tubing, sledding, skating, cross country skiing and warming hut.  White Water rafting on the Hudson River is located 10 minutes down the road. Nearby Loon Lake offers sandy beaches with lifeguards and a public boat launch. Loon Lake Marina offers boats, kayaks, water skiing, tubes, and pontoon rentals for your enjoyment. For fine dining, the Friends Lake Inn, an award winning 5-star restaurants, is located directly across the street from the cabin.

Pillows and blankets are provided, however, LINENS AND TOWELS ARE NOT PROVIDED.

Deposit: 50% plus $250 refundable security deposit due upon booking reservations. Balance due two weeks prior to scheduled arrival.

Payment Options: American Express, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, PayPal, personal checks (will hold reservation until cleared), cashiers checks, and money orders. Please note: all payments made through PayPal, will incur a 3% transaction fee. This fee is what PayPal charges us to accept your payment. This fee is non-negotiable.

Cancellation Policy: If cancellation is received 60 days prior to your scheduled arrival, you are entitled to a refund less 10% service charge of the total rental price. This fee is non-negotiable.
