Stay and relax in our beautiful chalet. Fully furnished with charming Adirondack style. The chalet sits on a heavily wooded lot, very private and nestled in the High Peaks Region of Jay, New York. There is plenty of fun to be had, with Whiteface Ski Resort just 15 minutes away and Lake Placid Village and the Verizon/Mt. Van Hoevenberg Olympic complex a beautiful ride 25 minutes along the river. In the winter months, enjoy cross country skiing and snowshoeing right out our front door on numerous marked trails. As for the other months, a short walk down our road brings you to the banks of one of the most renowned fly fishing streams in the world, the West Branch of the Ausable River. The High Peaks Region also offers countless hiking, biking, and climbing trails, rewarding you with incredible views. Come in the fall and enjoy the splendor of our colorful mountains. Kayak or canoe on any of the numerous pristine lakes, ponds, and streams throughout the region. The house is extremely comfortable, sleeping up to six people. The master bedroom has a double bed, the loft has two twin beds, and the lower level family room has a brand new queen sleeper sofa. The chalet has a big wood-burning stove in the upper level family room, where you can relax and enjoy the fire while gazing out the many windows. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you would need to make the perfect meal. The lower level family room is the game room. Fun to be had with a foosball table, DVD player, TV, and stereo CD player. During the warmer months, enjoy our outdoors with a wonderful outdoor firepit and brand new upper level deck and lower level patio.
